My Community: Magic Johnson

Students at Everett High School got the surprise of a lifetime on Friday, Sept. 23. To celebrate the growth of Best Buy Mobile in the Lansing area, representatives were on hand Friday, Sept. 23 to present Everett principal Howard Cousins with a check to support the schools’ technology and education program. What followed was a surprise guest speaker – Earvin “Magic” Johnson himself. After addressing the crowd about the importance of education he took questions from students and even posed for a few photos.
