My Community: Race for the Cure
Thousands of walkers, runners and supporters filled the Capitol lawn in downtown Lansing on Sunday, April 17 for the annual Mid-Michigan Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Men, women, children and even some fury friends took to the streets to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Along with the 5k walk and run there were info booths, live entertainment and a special survivor ceremony.
