An Eye for Art

My Community: East Lansing Winter Glow

East Lansing’s Annual Winter Glow took place on Saturday, Dec.1. The event featured ice carving, a holiday farmers market, marshmallow roasting, a children’s winter carnival, live music performances, horse and carriage rides, a reindeer petting zoo, merchant activities, roasted chestnuts and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. At 5 p.m., volunteers lit more than 500 luminaries throughout downtown, providing a festive winter glow for East Lansing and its residents.
