Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Luncheon
The Greater Lansing Area Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission held their 32nd annual Luncheon on Monday, Jan. 16. The purpose of the event is to promote racial harmony, understanding, community service, respect and goodwill among all citizens. This year’s keynote speaker was Myrlie Evers-Williams, a civil rights activist and former chairperson of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
