My Community: Ele’s Place 5K

The annual Ele’s Place 5k, took place on Saturday, July 22. Many showed up to support Ele’s Place, which provides free-of-charge counseling services to families who have experienced loss. The race offered prizes to the first five finishers and a 100 yard dash for kids.

My Community: MSU Women’s Football Clinic

Approximately 200 women took to the field Saturday, April 16 to participate in the Spartan Women’s Football Clinic at the Duffy Daugherty Football Complex. Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio and several members of the football team instructed the female fans in a variety of drills. The women also toured the Skandalaris Football Center and had a Q&A session with the coaching staff and their wives. Proceeds benefited Ele’s Place in Lansing.
