It’s hard to believe it, but the start of another school year is just around the corner. The staff here at Capital Area Women’s LifeStyle Magazine is ready — well our kids — or at least their closets are ready. Here are three looks — for a teen, a pretween and a tot — that will hit the hallways this fall. Julia Kelsaw Adami, daughter of CAWLM Entertainment Columnist Taylor Kelsaw Fun and practical clothing is great for first graders because they need to be able to run around and look sharp at the same time. Taylor said he finds plenty of looks at Old Navy that fit the bill of being both practical and on-trend with the latest fashions, plus Old Navy offers a one-stop shopping experience! Top, $14.94; Capri cargo pants, $19.94; denim jacket, $19.50; shoes, $16.94; lunch box, $10 all available at Old Navy. Emma Grace Hodges, daughter of CAWLM Account Manager Jennifer Hodges Emma Grace will sparkle in the fourth grade wearing a tiered, ruffled black and white cropped tank with hot pink sequined hearts on the shoulder, layered with a white tank. Continuing with sparkles and sequins she is wearing a fuchsia rose skirt with sequins on the front and black Capri length sequin hem leggings with silver metallic twisted knot ballet flats. Accessories include a hot pink sequin bracelet and white and black bead bracelets. The look is topped off with a sequin lunch tote. Top, $26; tank, $13; skirt, $36; leggings, $22; ballet flats, $32; bracelets, $1.99 and $5; lunch box, $18 all available at Justice. Zach Dowling, son of CAWLM Publisher Tiffany Dowling For high school sophomore Zach Dowling the goal when it comes to fashion is one thing — comfort. When Tiffany shops for Zach she said she tries to find clothes that are easy going and versatile. Outfits that mix and match like this T-shirt and cargo shorts are a must because, let’s face it, leaving a high school boy on his own to coordinate outfits could lead to disaster. T-shirt, $15.95; shorts, $39.95, both available at American Eagle Outfitters. Shoes by Nike, $50.
