Take a look around the Capital Area Women’s LifeStyle office and it’s not hard to tell — we’ve kinda got a thing for fashion. From handbags, to booties, to accessories and everything in between, we pretty much cover every style, size and trend there is.
So, imagine our delight when Okemos Models called and asked our Production Director Julie Becker and myself, managing editor, to host a fashion workshop at K2 Boutique in Okemos. We. Were. Thrilled.
On Saturday, Nov. 19, a group of 20 or so women and teenagers gathered at K2 where Julie and I talked all about winter trends, finding your style, dressing for your body type and much more.
Following our chat we sent the women out into the store to shop for themselves. We helped (and critiqued) them along the way and just had to give ourselves a pat on the back at the results.
Here are a few of our favorite fashion makeovers. Thanks to Okemos Models and K2 Boutique. We’re already looking forward to our spring workshop!
