YAC of Capital Region Community Foundation Awarded College Positive Community Grant from the Kresge Foundation Greater Lansing continues to grow as a “college positive” region thanks to a College Positive Challenge Grant supported by the Kresge Foundation and administered by the Council of Michigan Foundations. The Capital Region Community Foundation’s YAC was awarded $2,500 and will match the grant with $2,500 from unrestricted grant dollars in its youth fund. The Capital Region Community Foundation’s YAC will partner with Lansing College Access Network (LansingCAN) to conduct three interactive “College Knowledge Seminars” for first-generation, low-income and youth of color in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties.
