Burcham Hills appoints new board members
David Brower of East Lansing and Patricia Munshaw of Lansing have been appointed to the Burcham Hills Retirement Community Board of Trustees. Brower is the former assistant vice president and chief financial officer of administrative services at Michigan State University.
Since 1993, Munshaw has been an independent contractor and consultant for physician recruitment on behalf of Ingham Regional Medical Center, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and Hayes Green Beech Hospital.
Life in Lansing Launches “Talk of the Town”
Go on-the-road, behind-the-scenes and on-the-set with two of Lansing’s most recognizable faces: the Wharton Center for Performing Arts’ Bob Hoffman and former broadcaster Cheryl Fritze. Their new show “Talk of the Town,” is a Life in Lansing production. It airs 12:30-1 p.m., Thursdays on ABC 3, and is available online immediately following.

Aitch Foundation Donates $10,000 to Cancer Research
Aitch Foundation donated $10,000 to the Michigan State University HealthTeam Thursday, Feb. 23 at the women’s basketball game. The funds — which were raised during last year’s Aitch Foundation Hidden Key Fashion Show — will go toward hidden cancer research and detection.
Lauren Aitch, former MSU women’s basketball player, Lansing native and President and founder of the Aitch Foundation, teamed up with the Michigan State University HealthTeam for the 2011 Aitch Foundation Hidden Key Fashion Show. Proceeds from the event helped make the donation possible.

M3 wins Earned Media Award for #MeetMichigan
The Michigan-based grassroots social media campaign, #MeetMichigan with @m3_group, has won a national Earned Media Award from AGILITY@work and PR Newswire.
During #MeetMichigan, the Motion Marketing & Media Special PRops (short for special PR opportunities) team used social media — Facebook, Twitter and Blogging — from all 83 counties in Michigan in two weeks.
