Local Women: Stacey Trzeciak

A Taste of Home

Trying something new can be a challenge for some, but Stacey Trzeciak lives for it. Balancing career with family, she also loves to experiment with new recipes. “Saturday dinner is a great time to try out new meals,” Trzeciak says. She enjoys entertaining at her home in Charlotte where she has lived for the past 20 years. Hosting exciting new dinners for guests on Saturday evenings gives her plenty of feedback for Sunday’s family meal. Her most recent success is also her new favorite dish: pork tenderloin with fig, sage and prosciutto stuffing. She inherited her love of cooking from her stepmother who first introduced her to baking, and Trzeciak instantly fell in love with it. Baking led to cooking, which eventually led to her love of fine cuisine. Acting on this passion, Trzeciak teaches free cooking lessons at the Williams-Sonoma Store in Eastwood Towne Center on Sunday mornings and Monday evenings. These lessons are open to the public and include food tasting. She teaches everything from basic cooking to advanced techniques, encouraging her students to try new things. Trzeciak also likes for her two teenage sons to try new things, and not just her recipes. She encourages them to be active, supporting them in sports like baseball, basketball and football. When asked about her favorite sports team, Trzeciak responds, “My favorites are whichever teams my sons are on. Everything I do, I do it for my boys. Whether it’s cheering them on or trying a brand new recipe, I do it for them,” she says. “I want them to grow up with good family values and dedication to hard work.” As a sales representative and customer service queen of Foresight Group in Lansing, Trzeciak understands the value of hard work. She believes in taking complete responsibility for her clients’ needs every step of the way, ensuring that they can talk to her about anything at any time. “I have been very fortunate to have great clients,” she says, “Even with the current economic climate. They know they can come to me with any concerns and I will do my best to make things happen.” Foresight Group is a full service printing company that supplies clients with deliverables ranging from promotional materials, to signage, to direct mailings. “You bring the ideas,” Trzeciak says, “and we’ll bring them to life.” To learn more about the services provided by Foresight Group, or to take part in her free cooking lessons, give Trzeciak a call at 517.485.5700.
