The East Lansing Film Festival (ELFF) is the largest film festival in Michigan to independent films, documentaries, shorts and students’ films from all over the world. ELFF, which took place Oct. 20-28, brought quality foreign and independent films to the state of Michigan and exposed the audiences to a variety of cultures and ideas. Featured films this past festival included everything from North Face, a true survival story about scaling the most dangerous rock face in the Alps to a documentary about Joan Rivers.
