My Community: Ten Over Ten

Ten young professionals were honored at the County Club of Lansing on Tuesday, Sept. 28 when the Ten Over the Next Ten awards were handed out. The winners were: Thomas Stewart, CEO of Common Wealth Enterprises; Rochelle Rizzi, president and CEO of Rizzi Designs LLC; Tremaine Phillips, assistant deputy director at the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth; Jeff McWherter, partner and director of development at Gravity Works Design and Development; Tobi Lyon, development director at the Sparrow Foundation; Paul Jaques, internship developer at Michigan State University; Kat Cooper, communication manager for MSU’s Auxiliary Resources; Sarah Jennings, senior manager at Maner Costerisan accounting firm; Jessica Knott, instructional designer at TechSmith Corp. and Adam Van Lente, CEO of Inc. Applicants had to be 35 years old or younger and have to have worked in Ingham, Eaton or Clinton counties for at least two years. The awards were presented by Grand River Connection networking group (GRC) and the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. [nggallery id=55]
