Your chance to take a peek inside 21 beautifully designed, state-of-the-art new and remodeled homes is just around the corner at the 2014 Parade of Homes, presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Lansing.
Whether you’re tech-savvy or fashion-forward, there is something for everyone to see and enjoy. View the latest design trends from high-tech home automation and energy-efficiency to gourmet kitchens, dramatic stone floor to ceiling fireplaces, functional loft spaces and more.
The 2014 Parade of Homes is scheduled for Thursday, May 29 to Sunday, June 1 and Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8. MSU Federal Credit Union returns to sponsor this annual event showcasing homes built by the area’s finest builders that feature the latest in construction, design and decorating techniques.
“Our member builders truly outdid themselves this year. Visitors will be amazed by the bold designs and attention to detail as they tour these homes,” said Cindy Kosloski, Chief Executive Officer of HBA of Greater Lansing. The public is invited to tour 21 newly-constructed homes and two remodeled projects. There are also three conceptual remodeled projects that can be viewed online only. Visitors will find a wide range of sizes and styles with prices ranging from the low $200,000s to $1.4 million. Builders will be onsite to answer any specific questions. Some of the homes will be for sale.
Gain inspiration for your next home build or renovation project by viewing the latest design styles and finishes such as 10-foot ceilings, two-story foyers, bold colors, beautiful tile work, spacious closets and unique tubs in master baths that will set your home apart from the others.
New homes are open both weekends and the remodeled homes are open the second weekend only.
View the conceptual remodeled projects online at www.hbalansing.com once the Parade starts.
“Ticket sales for the Parade of Homes benefit 21 local charities,” said Kosloski. “One charity organization is assigned per new home and ticket proceeds from all the homes are divided equally amongst the groups. By purchasing a ticket, you are also helping your local community.”
Tickets can be purchased at every Parade Home and at all 11 convenient MSUFCU locations beginning May 29. For more information, visit www.hbalansing.com
