Recipe of the Month: Perfect Brownies

From the kitchen of Lisa Twenter Adapted From 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped 1 stick unsalted butter, plus extra for pan 1 1/3 cups dark brown sugar 2 large eggs 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 3/4 teaspoon flaky sea salt or 1/2 teaspoon table salt 2/3 cup all-purpose flour Heat oven to 350°F and butter an 8×8 baking pan. In a large saucepan or pot, melt chocolate and butter together. Remove pan from heat, completely stir the melted chocolate and butter together. Carefully whisk in sugar and eggs. Once combined, add vanilla and salt. Use a spoon or spatula to stir in flour and scrape batter into prepared pan, spread until even. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let set for 15-20 minutes, before cutting.
