My Community: Williamston Light Parade

Share!
Williamston rung in the holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 1 with its 16th Annual Holiday Light Parade. The event took place downtown and was organized by The Williamston Area Chamber of Commerce. Approximately 50 entries consisting of illuminated floats, vehicles, marching bands, animals and more took over Grand River Avenue. After the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus helped light the tree in front of city hall, and family activities like caroling and gingerbread house making commenced. [nggallery id=214]
