Ever wonder what the animals do after the zoo closes for the night? Now is your chance to find out with exclusive after-hours access to Potter Park Zoo on July 26. Spend an evening relaxing while visiting your favorite Potter Park Zoo animal. Acoustic Night at Potter Park Zoo continues the annual Zoo Brew series.

Enjoy live music, craft beers and wine, a cookout dinner, and adult conversation from 5-10 p.m. Acoustic Night features local artists and bands like The Banana Migration from 5-6 p.m., Scott Seth from 6-8 p.m. and The Tenants from 8-10 p.m. As an adults-only event, Lansing Brewing Co. will be on-site with beer, wine and soft drinks.

Be adventurous with a camel ride or stick with the classic pony rides while visiting. See the one-legged Alaskan moose or check out the tallest feline, the African lion. Don’t forget to stop by the black rhino’s home to say hi while walking through the zoo. Potter Park Zoo is committed to black rhino conservation and scientific advancement.

The 58-acre Lansing-based zoo is home to 160 species representing over 500 individual animals. Events like Zoo Brew help bring forth the mission of the zoo with helping fund education and conservation efforts. The zoo takes special efforts in saving species around the world through research, education, breeding and release programs, and more.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the gate or attend all three Zoo Brews for $10. Potter Park Zoo is at 1301 S. Pennsylvania Ave. in Lansing. Purchase online tickets at eventbrite.com/e/july-zoo-brew-acoustic-night-tickets-45687729228.
