Common Ground Music Festival brings top talent to Lansing


Common Ground Music Festival returns to Adado Riverfront Park on Thursday, July 5, through Sunday, July 8. For its 19thyear, Common Ground brings national touring acts to Lansing for a weekend of good food, cold drinks and great music. This year’s lineup includes:

Thursday, July 5

Kicking off the weekend will be country music singer-songwriter Kip Moore. Known for early hits like “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck,” “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl,” Moore’s a phenomenal way to get the weekend started. Joining Moore on Thursday is country singer Hunter Hayes and rounding out the night on the Auto Value Stage is Cale Doddsand Shelby Ann-Marie.

On the same night, west Michigan born artist BØRNS will be rocking the Sparrow Stage along with Judah & the Lion – who are most notably known for singles “Take It All Back” and “Suit and Jacket” – as well as pop groups The Aces and Vesperteen.

Friday, July 6

Pop sensation Halsey brings her multiplatinum hits to the stage Friday. Joining Halsey is Colombian-Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez, as well as Smino, Sasha Sloan, London Richards and Lex J.

Saturday, July 7

Grammy-nominated rapper, singer and songwriter Logic makes a tour stop at the Common Ground Music Festival on Saturday. Plus, Michigan-born Billboard Top 200 artist NF. Maggie Lindemann, Tone Loc, Chelsea Cutler, DJ Kool, J Chase and DJ Dill Pickle are also performing.

Sunday, July 8

Sunday’s headliner is a pioneer of trap music, rapper Gucci Mane. Joining him Sunday is Kevin Gates, T-Pain, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Supa Bwe, Kalamazoo Prime Suspects and King Khancept.
