The city of East Lansing has announced the winners of its 2018 photo contest, officially sponsored by Meijer, the East Lansing Downtown Management Board and the East Lansing Downtown Development Authority.
The city received a total of 264 photo submission for the contest, and the winning photos will be featured in an array of marketing materials as well as online and in print.
“We would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2018 East Lansing Community Photo Contest. We received so many great submissions,” said East Lansing Communications Coordinator Mikell Frey. “We also would like to thank our sponsors for generously donating this year’s prizes.”
This year’s winners are:
First place: Prakash Shee – Dawn of the Planet of the Horses (Seen above)
Second place: William Rowan – Three Moons Statue, Lasch Family Golf Center
Third place: John McCloskey – Northern Tier Trail
Downtown East Lansing winner: Gary Caldwell – Andromeda
Honorable mention winners are as follows:
