Embrace Embroidery

Embroidery is having a moment. It’s no longer just the kitsch hobby of grandmothers and hipsters alike, now it’s taken over Taylor Swift’s instagram and the fashion runways of Gucci and Valentino. A 2004 article in the New York Times chronicled the rise of knitting, and now embroidery, that includes both cross-stitch and needlepoint, is having a similar resurgence.
