On Friday, September 30, Grove Gallery & Studios kicked off the fall season with three great exhibits by local artists. Two exhibits, “100 Pears, a Journey of Discovery” by Jennifer Rosseter and “One Man, One Barn, One-of-a-Kind” by Mark Rosseter were the focal points of reception.
“This is the most exciting exhibit we’ve had,” said Deb Cholewicki, Gallery Manager and Studio Artist at Grove Gallery & Studios. “I’m just over the moon thrilled with Jennifer and Mark’s exhibit!”
The third exhibit, “On the Edge” showed work by the Grove Gallery member artists, Martha Brownscombe, Deb Cholewicki, Sharan Egan, Candace Farmer, Michelle Detering, Barb Hranilovich, Nancy McRay, Julian VanDyke and Kari Wilson. Each artist in this exhibit explored what “On the Edge” means to them through various mediums.
“Our core group of artists in the co-op interpreted the theme for the show very differently. It’s thrilling to see how the diversity of work converges under the theme, ‘On the Edge,’” said Cholewicki.
Guests and art aficionados gathered for light refreshments from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and enjoyed the show at the 325A Grove Street gallery. Each exhibit will be up available for public viewing from Sept. 16 – Oct. 23. For more information, visit grovegalleryandstudios.com.
